Beards for kids
Thanks to the overwhelming support from CRA friends, fifteen men with fifteen beards raised nearly $4,500 for CRA’s
first-ever No Shave November (NSN) fundraiser for Watts Elementary. CRA used the
donation funds to purchase winter coats, the original goal of the fundraiser for
Watts Elementary, and expanded the effort to include school supplies since
pledges exceeded expectations.
A special thanks to the men who took on the challenge (Matt Isner, Matt Fidler, Scott Castleman, Steve Gray, Thad Smith, Chuck Lilly, Robb Major, Matt Sutton, Chad Engle, Ryan Clark, Bruce Hobart, Mark Tubbs, Vince Harper, Chuck Hirst and John Auge) as well as to each person who pledged. This winter was warmer in more ways than one.
In addition to the NSN donation campaign, CRA has been involved with Watts
Elementary through tutoring, teacher appreciation, student-of-the-month lunches,
school improvements projects and much more.

Elementary, contact Allison McCarty.

How to fill a seven-ton truck
Employees of Affinion Loyalty Group (ALG) participated in a company-sponsored shopping
spree at Toys“R”Us Richmond West to make Christmas a little brighter for local
children. All toys purchased were donated to marines on-site for the Marine Toys
for Tots Foundation.
“It took
939 toys, 22 packages of assorted batteries, the help of three Marines, 76 ALG
employees and one and a half hours to fill a seven-ton truck,” Marti Beller,
president of ALG, said. “I am overwhelmed with appreciation for everyone who
helped make this event possible and proud to know that the toys purchased will
be given as holiday gifts to children in our community.”
According to GySgt. Russell Sayles, the organization has had an especially hard time this
year collecting toys, and the support from ALG was more than expected and
extremely appreciated.
Employees at ALG are regularly involved with community activities. In addition, the company has a long-standing
corporate relationship with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Virginia.
Since 2005, ALG and its employees have donated more than $65,000 to the
Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Season’s greetings
Finding the best holiday card to communicate wishes for good
times, good cheer and a happy new year, is not an easy task in world of mass
produced, cookie-cutter greetings. At CRA, when our clients want the perfect,
personalized holiday message, they know they can count on us.
“The goal of each card is the same: to craft a holiday
message and visual which effectively convey the heartfelt sentiments of the
season and wishes for a great new year,” said John Auge, CRA senior counsel.
“Whether it is a glance through the window at the warmth of a brick fireplace,
the openness and grandeur of the Governor’s Mansion, or a glimpse into the
family photo album of Congresswoman Shelly Moore Capito, these pieces are more
than simply a holiday card. Each card includes sensitive and heartfelt messages
while simultaneously and accurately portraying the uniqueness of its senders.”
