Charles Ryan Associates Senior Graphic Designer Alana Robinson, Account Executive Allison O’Mallon and Account Director Hollie Lansing joined the Virginia State Police at the 2018 HEAT awards in Roanoke, Virginia. The awards recognize Virginia law enforcement agencies and their employees engaged in the mission to eliminate vehicle theft. CRA works with the HEAT Program throughout the nomination and voting processes, manages event planning and provides support during the awards ceremony.

The HEAT awards are presented each year to Virginia law enforcement agencies and individuals. To be considered for a HEAT award, agencies must submit entries highlighting efforts in at least two areas including intelligence, prevention, enforcement and/or recovery.

CRA is proud to be a part of the cooperative effort to help eliminate auto theft throughout the Commonwealth, along with Virginia State Police, Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles and local enforcement agencies.

The Virginia Help Eliminate Auto Theft Program (HEAT) was established in 1992 to reduce Virginia’s auto theft rate. Citizens are encouraged to provide auto theft related tips through the 1-800-947-HEAT Hotline or at www.heatreward.com.

In addition to the HEAT awards, CRA works with the Virginia State Police to promote the program to residents throughout Virginia. CRA designed and launched the HEAT website, has worked to grow and engage the program’s social media audience and has developed complementing communications and promotions to raise awareness for the program.
