CRA Awards Coast To Coast

Yesterday was a big day for CRA. Nothing makes us more proud than to see our clients recognized for their success. In one day our two Managing Partners were on two opposite coasts to show support for clients receiving national awards for excellence in communications.

Susan Lavenski was at the Interstate Oil & Gas Compact Commission’s Annual Meeting in Long Beach, California. It was there that Energy Speaks, a joint campaign of the Independent Oil and Gas Association of West Virginia and the American Petroleum Institute, was awarded the 2013 Chairman’s Stewardship Award for Education.

“We are very excited to take part in this awards ceremony in partnership with our client IOGAWV,” commented Susan. “To win this prestigious national award three years in a row is an honor. Our staff, the IOGA staff and its members have made such a commitment to make sure the correct information is disseminated throughout West Virginia regarding the natural gas industry. To receive national recognition for our work is extremely rewarding.”

STS Award Caryn Foster DurhamMeanwhile across the country in Jacksonville, Florida, Caryn Durham was attending the Southeast Tourism Society’s Fall Forum. STS awarded the Charleston, West Virginia Convention and Visitors Bureau with a 2013 Shining Example Award for Tourism Office of the Year (Category 1). This award comes on the heels of last week’s recognition by the West Virginia Division of Tourism — awarding the CVB with a 2013 Stars of the Industry Award for Best Website. “We are thrilled to be a part of the great things happening in Charleston, WV,” said Caryn, “and we are looking forward to another exciting year.”

You’ll forgive us if we appear to be beaming with pride today. We’re in this business to see our clients succeed. Having two clients recognized for excellence by their peers in one day — that’s one for the books!
