CRA Launches Revamped H.E.A.T. Website

CRA has redesigned the Help Eliminate Auto Theft (H.E.AT.) website,, making it easier to navigate so that citizens and law enforcement agencies can quickly and efficiently find information.

The H.E.A.T. program educates citizens about theft of vehicles and their parts, a crime that costs Virginians millions of dollars each year. In addition, H.E.A.T. trains and supports local law enforcement officers in efforts to prevent auto theft. The H.E.A.T. program is a cooperative effort of the Virginia Department of State Police, Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles and local law enforcement agencies throughout the Commonwealth.
